At the heart of SPARK is a library in which users have the opportunity to contribute their knowledge and find something new. This helps the rail industry - and its research community in particular - to understand what information is available and to whom and creates opportunities for networking and cooperation.
Created and managed by RSSB (Rail Safety and Standards Board), SPARK is now being developed in partnership with UIC and the International Rail Research Board (IRRB) facilitated by UIC. SPARK is part of the Railway-Research.org portal targeted towards all parties involved in rail research and innovation.
