Positionning
Collaborator’s position in the organisation chart:
- Directly reports to the Passenger Department Director
- Works in conjunction with the department’s project managers and the UIC Working Groups
Composition of the service (staff): 10 people
Task specifications for the position
Main mission: Distribution project management in the Passenger Department activity
Activities:
- Head of the "Next Generation Revenue Management" project NGRS
- Follow-up and review of EY supplier meetings and documents
- Growing the Railways audience
- Meeting Railways’ needs and identifying new expectations arising from the meetings
- Participation in European Shift2Rail projects
- Support to multimodal and digital projects:
- Door2Door Multimodal workshop
- Air+ Rail Intermodal workshop
- Representation of the Passenger Department in international, mainly European, bodies (CER, ERA, CIT...)
- Support to the Passenger Department’s technical projects related to international distribution
- Contribution to the transversal passenger department studies
- Cooperation with Station Managers concerning the Inventory of Assets
Area of autonomy and responsibility: Full responsibility for the above activities delegated by the Passenger Department Director
Specificities of the position: Frequent business trips, mainly in Europe
Skills required for the job
- Experience and knowledge in project management, especially in IT
- Knowledge of railway business processes, in the passenger area.
- Knowledge and experience of railway distribution IT systems for passenger transport
- Knowledge of passenger data exchange standards
- Knowledge of reference data for passenger data exchange
- Knowledge of the European regulatory context for transport and the European Railway Agency (ERA)
- Fluency in English is essential
